Project Description
Sitting between Granary Wharf and the historic Tower Works, Mustard Wharf forms a new gateway to the dynamic South Bank District. The development contributes 247 apartments and 5,500 sqft of amenity spaces spread across 3 buildings as well as new bars, restaurants, and a fitness studio.
We were asked to introduce a series of inspiring amenity spaces across the development, making each area work as hard as possible to maximise the resident experience.
A campus approach was taken with a central clubhouse offering residents a variety of shared spaces connected by a dramatic steel plate stair. The resident amenities included workspace, lounges, bookable entertaining space, an outdoor living room and a rooftop terrace.
Finishes used throughout draw on the external fabric of the buildings and root the scheme in the wider industrial context: brick walls, metal framed joinery and exposed concrete soffits create a warm, raw and tactile palette of materials.
